According to TMZ ,The Good Life rapper, Kanye West has been named a felony suspect in the LAX attack Friday afternoon.
Police suspect Kanye committed an attempted robbery when he assaulted a photog at the airport and tried to
jack his camera.
The case has now been transferred to the Robbery Homicide Unit and cops are currently putting a file together.
Our sources say the case will be referred to the L.A. County D.A. for possible prosecution.
The victim was taken to the hospital after the attack. His condition is unknown
The victim wants to press charges against Kanye ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ. What's more, our sources say he's been interviewed by cops and they've determined he did indeed suffer injuries during the attack. Cops will refer the case to the D.A. as a felony attempted robbery and not a battery case. The routine is to go after the suspect for the most serious charge.
The fact that Kanye knew this guy wanted a reaction out of him and he could have avoided it, is what for us makes this situation so ridiculous and although we agree that there needs to be laws set in to place when it comes to the paparazzi that dose not excuse Kanye and many other celebs who've attacked paparazzi behavior. We get it coming off a long flight who would want cameras in there face but hey this is what come with the job after all privacy is the real sacrifice you make when you enter this industry. Kanye West is a genius easily top five producer and rapper of all time, so privacy is most definitely not his best friend right now and while that sucks it's people out there especially from his hometown Chicago who would kill to have a camera in there face instead of a gun right now. We hope Kanye doesn't have to go jail over something as petty as this and that they put laws in place for these paparazzi before someone gets seriously hurt. Kanye recently tweeted "I open the debate… The 2nd verse of New Slaves is the best rap verse of all time….meaning … OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF RAP MUSIC, PERIOD"
