New Michael Jackson Album "Xscape" Set For May 13th

Epic Records, in conjunction with the Estate of Micheal Jackson has decided to release an album five years after his death. The new album titled 'Xscape' is set to be released May 13th. The album is executive produced by Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid.
"Reid was granted unlimited access to the treasures spanning four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals. Reid then teamed up top producers to “contemporize” the songs while retaining Jackson’s essence and integrity, creating the best music you've never heard."
The list of producers on the album includes
Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and John McClain. With that roster we're sure this album will have some gems on it, but it is very bitter sweet. We have to admit though that we are still a little conflicted about this project. Micheal Jackson was a perfectionist and had a lot of input on all of his albums, so as a fan without his final input you wonder will it live up to what we are expecting? but on the other side as fans we can't wait to hear new material from the King of Pop and it seems like they are on the right track as far as production goes so we will have to wait and see what comes of this.
